Our Story
New Star Sanctuary is dedicated to providing a loving, safe and caring environment for retired rescued and unwanted animals. We started off as a "hobby" farm here in Berks County, PA nestled between Oley and Douglassville, PA, that took in retired and unwanted horses. We quickly found out that we could not do this alone. That is when we decided to become a 510(c)(3) non-profit so we could do more for our rescued horses with a little help!
