Our residents have inspiring stories, and we are dedicated to providing them with the care and love they deserve. Along with our equine residents, we have a few non-equine residents too. Our mission is to rescue as many as we can and give them all a happy life they are so deserving of. We are committed to making a difference in the lives of these beautiful animals, and we invite you to be a part of our journey and join our New Star Sanctuary family.

Rocky

Meet Rocky, he is one of our original residents that was inherited when the farm was purchased in 2019.

At 36 years young, Rocky is a retired quarter horse gelding and was quite the athlete with loads of personality! He is our curious George.

Dillon

Dillon and Beav came to the sanctuary together, both retired and looking for a soft place to land.

Dillon retired from racing after just one race, lucky for him! He then did some dressage and fox hunting but was mostly a companion for Beav.

Ziggy

Ziggy is our resident barn and house cat, he has the best of both worlds! Ziggy was abandoned, and we managed to get him vet care in time to survive, left being blind in one eye.
